The Archers' barrage
did not mar his courage
but....
A single arrow killed Achilles
Paris wounded him in his heel
He fell and watched his lady love
Leaving...going into another world-
He would perhaps be just above
but there was still so much untold

What made Achilles fall?

or his own vanity
to be known for eternity

He chose fame
He loved his name
Peace meant nothing
love was not even intriguing
Love did stop his fight
and love triggered his greatest
It killed Hector
It ended Troy
It ended itself
and it ended Achilles
