This One was written for Sushmita's painting (Still life-vegetables).

There is a pile of dishes lying in the kitchen sink
You've no idea of when it’s going to be clean
It’s like you’re running in a tight schedule
You’re busy and you’ve lots of things to do
But you don’t do them, not even a few

I’m just like you
A dog chasing its tail
I’m just like you
We can smile when we fail

Sight of your desk at work place makes you frown
You desire to have super powers to fly back home
It’s like the clock is stuck in the same place
Everything sounds like a cliché
You don’t like the way the world is on the weekdays

I’m just like you
Mine is a strange psyche
I’m just like you
I wish to do what I like

Many friends you went to school with are getting married
When your mother talks about wedlock it’s a little scary
It’s like your hair is becoming less dense
And the pointer in your bathroom scale is reaching the maximum
Some days you wonder whether you look older than your mum

I wait for the horse and the cape
I’m just like you
I want my fairytale escape
