The "One" Way

This poem is just a reflection of the struggle that usually goes on in my mind(It keeps giving me diametrically opposite cues on what to do)...and what I did one fine day :)

Switch it on
Switch it off

Do it now
Put it off

Make the call
Oh not now

Do the shopping
Maybe...tomorrow

Send the mail
What if I don't?

Do something
Just lie down

Go meet people
Just gather wool

I am not a fool
I am not clever

I can do this...
Was I dreaming?

Aww...Shut up!
Yep..that's the word.

One thought, am sticking to it
One plan, no more changes

No more fight
Even if I am not right!

I do...yes I do...

Let me say it now
can't hold it in forever
when you are not around
I feel a strange fever
I need u near...yes I do...

what is mine is thine
you needn't have to say that
I don't mind
in health and sickness
I like to be with you..yes I do

I can't celebrate
our love and commitment
because I'm just beginning to imagine
my life's whole expanse without u
I think it is meaningless...yes I do

In this life and the lives to come
togetherness will be fun
I assure you..I will be there for you
I don't mind..if you don't say the same
I assure you..I will be there for you...yes I do!
